Hydrogen energy
The efficient storage of solar energy in the form of chemical fuels such as hydrogen is indispensable for the effective utilization of solar energy. Hydrogen energy is considered as one of the main sources of energy in the next era as the oxidation product of hydrogen is water. Hydrogen production is one of the thrust areas where research is active to solve the issue of energy crisis. At NSRL we are engaged in the investigation of production of hydrogen through photocatalytic and electrocatalytic water splitting.
